The Magnotherapy's ring-type coil applicator applies a pulsed electromagnetic field. It transduces hign-intensity pulses into the body tissues which can speed up the healing process of sports injuries, chronic pains & degenerative joint diseases.
Learn more about Magnotherapy Pain Healing
All cells in the human body carry an electrical charge, which in case of trauma, injury or disease, tends to decrease in power and often leads to inflammation and pain. Pulsed magnotherapy amongst other things re-establishes the cell's positive charge. It recharges the damaged area.
Health Results Magnotherapy Spectroscopy DUO treatment opens new possibilities in regeneration and rehabilitation. The areas of application include diseases of the musculoskeletal system, joint pain, sports injuries, muscle strain, fracture healing etc. It differs from general forms of magnetic field therapy or PEMF due to its high oscillation frequency (up to 3000hz at an intensity of 4 Tesla) and its ring-type coil. These properties enable a high penetration depth and is beneficial for a large range of conditions.
The magnetic fields also stimulate the flow of blood and other bodily fluids to the affected area. This increased circulation may help to reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain, which can, in turn, promote healing; magnotherapy also stimulates the body's natural endorphins, providing effective pain relief for joint pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, back, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Additionally, magnotherapy may help to improve the function of cells and tissues in the affected area. The magnetic fields may stimulate the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is a molecule that is important for energy production in cells. This increased energy production may help to improve cellular function and accelerate the healing process.
And best of all, there are none of the harmful side effects often associated with prescription drugs and invasive medical procedures (although if you are on medication, you MUST follow the advice of your doctor).
Here are some common treatments:
Please note none of these treatments replaces any of your ongoing treatment or advice from your doctor or physio, but work in addition.
Magnotherapy Spectroscopy DUO, also combines near infrared therapy. Below are some of the effects of each component.
Magnotherapy
The Magnotherapy’s ring-type coil applicator applies a pulsed electromagnetic field. It transduces high-intensity pulses into body tissues, which can speed up the healing process of sports injuries, chronic pains and degenerative joint diseases.

Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is a light spectrum that can penetrate deep into muscle tissues. Therapeutic effects include:
Frequently asked questions
Q - Where did this technology come from?
A - Much early development in this area was conducted by NASA. Their scientists were trying to identify electromagnetic frequencies and pulses that could facilitate cell growth and extracellular matrix (ECM) formation. In a zero-gravity environment, astronauts lose muscle tissue and their bone density significantly reduces. Nasa discovered that the regrowth of cells exposed to electromagnetic stimulation regrew by 2.5 to 4 times (an impressive 250 to 400%).
Q - Aren’t Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) bad for you?
A - You may have heard that EMF from microwaves or mobile phones are bad for your health. In fact, almost every month, new research seems to suggest that is the case. But Pulsed Magnotherapy is very different. A microwave operates for example at 1,000,000,000 Hertz. However, Pulsed Magnotherapy on our machine operates from 1 to 3,000 Hertz. And its wavelength at its shortest is about 6 miles long!
Q - Who is this treatment not suitable for?
A - Below are some conditions where the combined therapy of magnet therapy and near-infrared therapy should be approached with caution or avoided altogether:
Implanted Electrical Devices:
We cannot treat individuals implanted with electrical devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, brain stimulators, gastric stimulators, insulin pumps, and cochlear implants, among others. While many of these devices have some protection against magnetic fields, the treatment could potentially interfere with their operation, as it would in an MRI scenario.
Pregnancy:
Due to limited research in this area, we advise pregnant women to abstain from this therapy. While MRI machines with strong magnetic fields are commonly used in medical scenarios involving pregnant women for complete safety, we do not recommend this therapy for expecting mothers.
Organ Transplant:
Patients who have undergone organ transplants and are on immunosuppressants should avoid this therapy as it could potentially enhance the immune system.
Hyperthyroidism (and other over-active glands):
This therapy is not recommended for individuals with hyperthyroidism or other overactive glands as it may over-stimulate these glands, especially if used excessively at high intensities, leading to potential aggravation and fatigue of the glandular function.
Implanted Metals:
People with implanted metals like joint replacements, dental implants, mechanical heart valves, metal stents, or metal staples in blood vessels should approach this therapy with caution. Extremely high-intensity therapies might stimulate nerves in the area of the metal causing discomfort or pain, or potentially contribute to shear stress of metal clips in or near blood vessels.
Post-Orthopaedic Procedures:
Patients who have undergone procedures such as hip replacements or other orthopaedic surgeries should exercise caution due to potential heating of implants by induced eddy currents from the varying magnetic fields, which could lead to discomfort or pain, mainly around sensitive, healing tissues.
